Former chief minister of Telangana KCR has been away from the public attention after losing the assembly election in 2023. It has become increasingly rare for him to come out of hibernation as he has cut down on the interceptions with the cadres as well.
However, KCR took the time and occasion to meet with certain leaders from the BRS yesterday at his farm house and had a few energy boosting comments to make. He confidently said BRS will return to power in Telangana and added that “Manchi Rojulu vastunnai.”
However, this did not sit well with chief Minister Revanth Reddy as he fought back at KCR while addressing a massive public gathering today.
“KCR is saying ‘Manchi Rojulu’ Vastunnayi, but in reality, it’s ‘munche rojulu’. He and his family members destroyed, Telangana and looted public money to the degree that Telangana now stands with ₹8 lakh crore debts. But it appears that their hunger for money has still not gone down.” Revanth said.
Revanth further said that KCR and his BRS are well beyond their good times and there is no future left for this party. He went on to point out that as long as KCR has his son KTR by his side, there is no chance that we would revive as he labelled KTR as an absolute burden.
“KCR lead a good life ones as he used to have his guards ward away even minsters like Mohammed Ali and Eatala Rajender while he was CM. But today, after losing the election, KCR is meeting Sarpanchs and Ward members. Such has been his downfall and the result for his misuse of CM power.” Revanth stated.
While KCR tried to instill new hope to the BRS scans by promising good days ahead, it appears that Telangana CM Revanth is having none of it. The CM was very straightforward and aggressive with his retort to KCR today as he explained why BRS is a sunken ship already by citing the defeats in Assembly election, MP election, Jubilee Hills by election, MLC poll humiliation as examples.
