Lokesh’s New Big Friend In Delhi: What’s Up?

The transition of power is well and truly happening within the Andhra Pradesh government leadership with Nara Lokesh getting increased prominence on all fronts. Now this transition is happening even at the power corridor in Delhi.

Lokesh has already formed a strong relationship with Prime Minister Modi as the two of them had met 2 to 3 times in the recent past itself. This is slowly transitioning into the RSS bonding as well, considering that Lokesh recently met a few RSS bigwigs and discussed a range of topics.

And now it appears that Lokesh has established another strong friendship in the power corridors of Delhi as he is in very good terms with union Railway minister, Ashwini Vaishnav.

Ashwini Vaishnav and Lokesh were seen having a pleasant conversation during the former’s recent visit to Vizag for the investor summit. And now this is followed by another formality meeting between the two of them in Delhi as Lokesh arrived at the political capital to discuss an array of topics with the center.

Reportedly, Lokesh and the railway minister discussed several important initiatives, and the former took the opportunity to share details of Andhra Pradesh’s AI-enabled Skill Portal being developed for comprehensive skill mapping.

I also updated him about my recent US trip and my discussions with leading tech companies in the USA. I look forward to working closely with the Union Government to develop a tech ecosystem in the state, Lokesh posted a short while back.

Establishing strong relationships at the Centre with union ministers is a crucial step in shift of power and Lokesh appears to be mastering this craft already, remarked a neutral observer who closely follows national politics.
