The government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a strong stand when it comes to empowering the sporting infrastructure in the state and they have been taking strong measures to ensure the same.
In this context, the government has done something significant to domestic Telugu female cricketer Sri Charani, who was a part of the recent World Cup winning Women’s cricket team.
According to the earlier assurance made to the young female cricketer, the government of Andhra Pradesh has awarded ₹2.5 crore cash and a 1000 sq foot plot in Kadapa to the young Charani. Apart from that, she has even been given the group one job position on behalf of the government of Andhra Pradesh.
This is significant lend of support from the government to the young and talented cricketer, and these are the kind of activities that can enhance this sporting index in the state. Such positive measures could inspire more young cricketers to explore the game as the government is ready to back them.
In the meanwhile, it must also be noted that deputy CM Pawan Kalyan personally saw to it that the members of the Blind cricket team would also receive significant benefits from the government. It is evident that the NDA government is paying top respect to athletes, which is a good sign.
