Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is facing a very complicated situation in Tamil Nadu which can be attributed to his political aspirations. On one hand, his film Jana Naga is not getting released due to censor complications. On the other hand, he is facing the CBI investigation in Karur stampede case.
When Vijay was recently investigated by the CBI, not once, but twice in a span of a week, Congress accused that BJP is pressuring Vijay into joining the NDA alliance by misusing political power.
However, it appears that Vijay is simply unbothered about these political apprehensions that are falling upon him.
“The AIADMK has directly surrendered to the BJP, and the DMK has indirectly surrendered to the BJP. We do not bow down to any pressure. Does this face look like it would succumb to pressure?” Vijay stated at the party meeting in Mahabalipuram today.
It is evident that Vijay is unfazed by the political place surrounding him in Tamil Nadu, both at the state level and central level. Amidst rumours that the NDA is doing all it can to pressure Vijay into joining their alliance, he has made it very clear that he will fight this election solo.
