These days, it is common for every major politician to take flights for quick commute and travel purposes. Same is the case with Andhra Pradesh’s top leadership as well. However, YS Jagan has now used this to target CM Chandrababu, DCM Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Lokesh.
Jagan sat in front of the Media and said the chief minister, Deputy chief minister and IT Minister all have special flights and dedicated helicopters to commute for daily operations.
“ This Chandrababu has a special flight and a chopper and so does his deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. And we have Chandrababu’s son Lokesh who is used to this. He also has a special flight and helicopter. He is in Vijayawada in the morning and goes to Colombo in the night to watch cricket matches, and shortly after, he’s in Delhi.” Jagan said.
Jagan question the need for Lokesh to go to Colombo to watch a cricket match, which can happily be watched at home. “He might be a cricket fan, but what is the need to go to Sri Lanka to watch these games? I also watched the match on TV at my house. Why can’t Lokesh also do it and watch it on tv?” Jagan stated.
It is evident that Jagan himself is trying to blatantly push the narrative that the top leadership of the Andhra Pradesh government is spending money on private flights and helicopters.
Meanwhile, it has already been communicated that Chandrababu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan had been using their own money for this private commute purpose. But still, Jagan is pushing the narrative that public money is being used for these activities.
