Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is preparing for his maiden electoral campaign in Tamil Nadu as his TVK party is contesting in the upcoming assembly election. He has started to prepare the Ground for the election already as certain measures are being taken to amplify his party’s chances.
In the meanwhile, the discussion has started about the constituency that Thalapathy Vijay will be picking for himself. There have been literally too many rumours and speculations in this effect already.
And now the latest development are suggesting that Vijay could be going for two constituencies rather than a singular selection. The chances are that he could be contesting from two consequences in the assembly election.
Reportedly, Vijay is considering the idea of contesting from RK Nagar, which is the constituency that historically belong to former CM Jayalalithaa. There is a historic prominence to this constituency, and Vijay is reportedly looking to cash in on the same. If that doesn’t happen, then Vijay is likely to pick the Perambur constituency or go for a seat in the Madurai belt.
While there are multiple choices in front of Thalapathy, it is being established in principal that he could be contesting from not one but two Assembly constituencies in order to amplify his chances of winning.
Earlier, this principal was put in motion by Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. He contested from Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka in his first election campaign. This tactic might not have worked for Pawan Kalyan then, but it appears that Vijay is confident of making it happen for his maiden contesting in Tamil Nadu.
With the elections approaching in a couple of months from now, Vijay will have to take the final call on the two constituencies very soon and start ground level work for the same. Needless to say he will face significant challenge from Tamil Nadu, CM Stalin who’s determined to get the better of Vijay.
