AP’s Pithapuram handloom community has received heartening news: a proposal for a ₹15 crore Special Handloom Development Project has been sent to the Central Government. For a town known for its rich weaving tradition, this move brings hope and renewed confidence to thousands of families who depend on this craft for their livelihood.
