Is Pawan Kalyan Not A Kapu?

YSR Congress is trying to give Caste Color to Ambati Rambabu’s arrest. They started calling him ‘Kapu Tiger’ and are trying to distance the Kapu Community from the Alliance Government.

As a part of that, Mudragada Padmanabham visited Ambati Rambabu’s residence the other day and consoled his family.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Mudragada said, “We are not slaves. We did not come from Pakistan or Afghanistan. They came to power twice with the help of the Kapus and are targeting us intentionally on both the occasions. First they tortured me and my family and cursed me. Now they tortured Ambati Rambabu”.

So what happened to this concern when the same YSR Congress leaders abused Pawan Kalyan day in day out?

Is Pawan Kalyan not a Kapu?

Between 2019 and 2024, we have seen YSR Congress leaders mocking Pawan Kalyan’s Political failures and were calling him names like Package Star, Dattaputhrudu, Nithya Pellikoduku etc.

They even insulted his personal life by mocking his marriages etc. Even today, Jagan Mohan Reddy do not even take Pawan Kalyan’s name.

Among the many reasons why the YSR Congress was reduced from 151 seats to just eleven was the way it mishandled Pawan Kalyan.

Mudragada did not show any concern because back then caste is a second priority and politics are paramount for him.

Moreover, he harbored jealousy against Pawan Kalyan because Mudragada could not digest the fact that Pawan Kalyan is more popular than him in his community.

Leaving Pawan Kalyan aside, he did not even bother when Jagan removed the 5% EWS Reservation given to the Kapu Community by the earlier Chandrababu Naidu Government.

That is because he thought his interest in YSR Congress is more important that his community interests. And today, he wants Ambati Rambabu to become a Kapu Champion and again it because of the political interests of YSR Congress.
