Minister Atchannaidu stirred the Hornet’s Nest by linking Jagan Mohan Reddy to YSR‘s death and invoking Botsa Satyanarayana to it. Botsa Satyanarayana who is currently the Leader of Opposition in the Council was startled by it and called for a Pressmeet.
He came up with an explanation trying to give a clean chit to Jagan. He probably suspected backlash from Jagan. He also cried in front of the cameras while speaking.
But he may have least thought the crying will backfire. Social Media and Media started digging the old videos where in Botsa really made such allegations about Jagan Mohan Reddy.
After Jagan floated his own Party in 2012 and Congress losing 2014, there was a Period when Botsa remained in Congress and hoped he would be the next Chief Minister. During that period, he allegedly made such critical comments on Jagan.
During the same period, he also made some critical comments on YSR praising the Congress Party. But in 2014 elections, both Congress and Botsa lost and he later chose to join YSR Congress.
During the initial days of his joining the party, those videos used to haunt him. But with time, everyone forgot about them, at least that’s what Botsa Satyanarayana thought. But then, they surfaced back with Atchannaidu‘s comments.
People’s memory might be weak but social media is always unforgiving. Botsa thought he can mask the issue with sentiment but the ‘Then Vs Now‘ videos are fully viral troubling the Senior Leader even more.
