Despite having served as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for five years, YS Jagan still uses despicable language against his counterpart Chandrababu Naidu. This was on display again as Jagan chaired a press conference today.
While referring to the recently trolled MAVIGUN capital narrative, Jagan made a highly objectionable and unwarranted comment on CM Chandrababu.
“Chandrababu is fearing a phenomenon these days. If anyone speaks about MAVIGUN in his sleep, Chandrababu might die after his heart stops beating. His BP will go up when anyone speaks about MAVIGUN in front of him.” Jagan said in front of the media today.
The exact choice of words used by Jagan are “Chandrababu nidra lo evaraina MAVIGUN ante Gunde aagi chanipothadu”.
It is one thing to have a political difference with other politician, but Jagan appears to have this strange aversion towards Babu where he often speaks about the latter’s age and health. He has gone a line further and spoken about Babu’s death now.
Political commentary and related exchanges are a part parcel of South Indian politics but Jagan is making this fight with Chandrababu largely personal and is occasionally speaking about his death as well.
This feudalistic mindset wasn’t approved by the public in the 2024 election but it appears that Jagan hadn’t learnt his lesson yet as he continues on the same path.
