Difference Between Alliance And Surrender: CM Vijay Does It!

These days, political alliances are becoming more like political surrenders with almost all the regional parties surrendering to the Delhi bosses at every level. But the exact opposite is the case with Tamil Nadu CM Vijay.

Vijay was able to become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu in his first attempt, and the alliance with the Congress party helped him in the process. However, this does not mean that Vijay has surrender to the Congress party at any level.

Incidentally, while addressing the assembly, Vijay said he strongly possess the Karnataka government’s decision to construct the Mekedatu dam that restricts water flow to Tamil Nadu. He was very straightforward with his reaction on this matter in the Tamil Nadu assembly today.

This is a strong sense of political individuality that was displayed by Vijay today as he did not care much while speaking against the Congress government in Karnataka while addressing a Tamil Nadu issue despite being a Congress ally.

Generally, when a political leader is in alliance with a national party, they do not prefer to speak anything against the concerned party which holds the government in other states. But Vijay was having none of it as he spoke his heart against the Congress government in Karnataka as he put Tamil Nadu’s interests about his political needs.

Many people are commenting that Vijay is perfectly displaying the difference between being an alliance with a party and having ideological differences and completely surrendering like a few other regional parties.
