Yet again, YS Jagan-led YSRCP is barking up the wrong tree. Even after many futile attempts to fight on the Mega DSC recruitment and received severe backlash from the public and the government with its transparency in the teachers recruitment and officials given a case-to-case rebuttal and clarification, YS Jagan & co had yet again decided to take up the issue to corner AP Education Minister Nara Lokesh.
Borrowing inspiration from the Cockroach Janatha Party (CJP) protests in Delhi over NEET Paper leak followed by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, Jagan’s YSRCP trying hard to draw parallels between NEET paper leak and Mega DSC recruitment. In a total contrast, Mega DSC is one of the biggest achievements of AP government under Lokesh’s regime.
For the past week or so, YSRCP voiced against DSC but got lukewarm response. Now, YSRCP announced statewide protests demanding Lokesh’s resignation. The whole fight against DSC is backfiring Jagan’s party.
In first place, Jagan failed to conduct DSC during his regime and he couldn’t even provide employment. Now by demanding Lokesh’s resignation and announcing that they would order probe if they come to power, Jagan & co doing the same mistake again and again. Looks like, Jagan hasn’t learnt from his past mistakes.
The public isn’t funding issue in DSC recruitment and there isn’t anger or angst. With no major issues to fight, Jagan party borrowing the issue only to stay in headlines and grab media attention. Whereas it won’t score any brownie points politically.
YSRCP leaders and cadres are only staging such protests by taking to streets only to satisfy Jagan. Fighting on DSC only turns positive for TDP as it openly exposes Jagan’s failure during his governance.
