An FIR has been registered against CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and another party worker over an alleged unauthorised entry into a Zilla Parishad school in Ausa, Latur. Police have alleged that the duo entered the premises without permission and obstructed official duties. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
The development has triggered fresh discussion around Dipke’s visits to government schools. A section of the public had previously questioned how he could enter schools, inspect classrooms and interact with students without obtaining permission from the concerned authorities.
Those questions have gained renewed attention following the registration of the FIR. Critics are now arguing that inspections of government institutions cannot be carried out by political or social activists without following the required procedures.
On the other hand, Dipke’s supporters have strongly defended his actions. They argue that visiting government schools and highlighting problems faced by students is a good cause, particularly when such visits bring attention to issues that may otherwise remain unnoticed.
The incident has therefore divided public opinion. While one side believes that the rules and authority of government institutions must be respected, the other side feels that raising concerns about school infrastructure and student welfare should be encouraged.
With the police investigation now underway, the focus will be on establishing exactly what happened inside the school and whether the alleged entry and conduct amounted to obstruction of official duties. The controversy is likely to keep Dipke’s school visits in the political spotlight.
