In a bizarre incident, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary office in Varanasi was put on sale and four people who were responsible for this have been arrested by the police.
Going into details, Modi’s office is located in Jawahar Nagar colony of Varanasi and is said to be a villa with 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms with a carpet area of 6,500 sqft. Photos of this building were clicked and were posted on OLX for Rs 7.5 crore.
As we know BJP activists are very active on online, found this and lodged a complaint at the nearest police station. Being PM’s the cops reacted swiftly and arrested four people who posted the pictures of building.
Shockingly the man who posted this, did a good write-up for the office. The ad in OLX mentioned it as ‘PMO office Varanasi’, and the details of ‘built up area 6500 sq ft, two-storeyed building North-East facing with car parking.’
The police removed the advertisement immediately and launched a full investigation into the matter.
Modi’s Varanasi office was inaugurated in August 2014 by Home Minister Amit Shah.
