Prashna Ravan’s Regret Should Be A Lesson To All

It is a known fact that controversial Telugu YouTuber Bachalakuri Joseph widely known as Prashna Ravan was arrested by Andhra Pradesh police in multiple cases for abusing Gods and hurting religious sentiments. Later, the police invoked sections under UAPA and sedition over his past acts.

During enquiry, Ravan has reportedly expressed deep regret for his misdeeds while admitting that he overreacted unnecessarily on many sensitive issues. As per media reports, He also confessed to officers that he unnecessarily brought trouble on himself and should have avoided doing such controversial things on social media.

When the investigating officers questioned why he made offensive videos on Gods, Ravan replied that he should have stayed away from those topics.

Police officers further enquired about money sources and YouTube earnings generated through his online channel. However, Ravan remained silent without giving proper answers regarding channel income and bank funding details.

Investigators are now trying to trace financial links to check if any political groups provided monetary support for creating targeted videos.

Ravan’s confession and feeling of regret during police interrogation has once again sparked a debate among the general public about the consequences of crossing the line in the name of doing sensitive content.

Just like rowdy sheeter Borugadda Anil Kumar, who also faced several cases for his foul mouth and later expressed regret during police custody, Ravan also now feeling the same guilt for using freedom of expression to stoke religious sentiments and also to abuse leaders from opponent parties just to please his political bosses.

These incidents now serve as a lesson that one shouldn’t insult gods or abuse individuals in the name of doing online content or else they will ultimately face legal consequences and regret for their unnecessary acts irrespective of political affiliations.
