BJP Denies Ticket To Modi’s Niece

Indian politics have a huge dynasty connection and almost all the political parties are family based and promote their family members extensively. To an extent, BJP also promotes this dynasty politics but in a shocker, the saffron party has denied ticket to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s niece.

Going into details, Ahmedabad corporation elections are scheduled later this month and the BJP has released the candidates list on Thursday night. In this Modi’s brother Prahlad Modi’s daughter Sonal had intentions to contest. She expressed the same to the party leadership. But in the final list Sonal’s name went missing and she was snubbed.

Now this became a hot debate in the party sources. However, Sonal was not informed why the ticket was declined to her. Of course Modi doesn’t promote his family in the party and this decision to deny ticket to Sonal is completely Gujarat BJP’s decision.

Along with Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Jamnagar and Bhavnagar cities are also going for the polls. All these municipalities are under BJP’s control for more than a decade now.
