Firebrand leader and Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy has tested positive of the novel Covid-19. Revanth took to his Twitter handle and announced that he was infected with the virus and is currently in isolation.
“I have been tested positive for covid and isolated myself on doctor’s advice. Who ever has been in contact from the past few days, please take necessary precautions,” tweeted Revanth. His followers have commented for his speedy recovery below his tweet.
Meanwhile India has added 40,715 new positive cases in the last 24 hours. The total active cases in the country is 3,45,377 while the death toll is 1,60,166. Telangana has reported 412 new positive cases including 103 cases from Hyderabad.
Coming to the vaccination about 4,84,94,594 received the Covid-19 vaccine as per the Union Health ministry data.
