Hot Discussion: Etala To Be Arrested?

The controversy surrounding Etala Rajender is taking many twists and turns. On Sunday night, Etala was stripped off from ministry post and there are reports that he might be arrested. Amidst this, Etala called on the media and responded to the Medak Collector report and CM KCR removing him from ministry.

“It’s been 20 years of my journey with KCR and TRS party. Not even once I took advantage of it and did not do a single penny of business with politics. Yes it’s true under your leadership and TRS flag, I got many opportunities and I have always worked for the welfare of people. You have called your brother and how can you think that I have committed a mistake,” asked Etala Rajender.

On land encroachment report, he said, “Farmers were called and their statement was recorded. But they were influenced and everyone knows it. But I was neither called nor asked any explanation. Why is it so? Officials have probed land which are not related to me and so I have decided to go to the court.”

Etala also reacted on the Namaste Telangana newspaper which alleged that he amassed hundreds of crore of Rupees. “Poultry industry is big and my company Jamuna Hatcheries has a turnover of Rs 300 crore per annum whereas my friend and Chevella MP Ranjith Reddy’s company has Rs 1600 crore turnover. So what is wrong in it,” said Etala.

Regarding the arrest reports that are making headlines in the media, he replied that “I did not bow down before YS Rajasekhar Reddy despite severe pressure. Gangster Naiyam did a recce on me, yet I did not get scared. If they arrest and send me to jail, I will go.”

Finally Etala said he won as MLA on TRS b-form and will take a call on resignation after holding talks with his supporters and Huzurabad people.
