PK’s Poll Prediction Tweet Goes Viral

With DMK and Trinamool Congress coming to power in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, the political strategist Prashanth Kishor is back in the headlines. Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) pulled out different plans to come to power in West Bengal but all the effort went in vain. Tamilnadu people are against BJP from the beginning and the fight was between the two regional parties DMK and AIADMK. But, the scenario is different n West Bengal. From the time the poll notification came out, the West Bengal poll scenario caught everyone’s attention in the country. Prashanth Kishor provided his IPAC (Indian Political Action Committee) services to Mamata and helped her retain the power. In this scenario, one of his old tweets against BJP is going viral on social media.

BJP leaders conducted a huge number of rallies and campaigned aggressively in West Bengal but it did not stand in front of Didi’s connection with the people. Didi’s charisma, her welfare schemes, and courage helped in putting BJP away from power. Prashanth Kishor’s political strategies also helped Trinamool Congress gain the majority for one more time in Bengal. What’s more surprising is the confidence of Prashanth Kishor that the BJP will not achieve a triple-digit in Bengal polls.

On December 21st, 2020, Prashanth tweeted that BJP will fail to cross a double-digit in Bengal. Just like how he predicted, BJP settled with just 77 seats.

“For all the hype AMPLIFIED by a section of supportive media, in reality, BJP will struggle to CROSS DOUBLE DIGITS in #WestBengal. PS: Please save this tweet and if BJP does any better I must quit this space!” he tweeted.

Prashanth pinned the tweet on his profile and it shows how confident he was that the people of Bengal will not encourage the religious politics of BJP in the state.

Reiterating the same, after the polls, Prashanth said that BJP will not get 100 seats in Bengal. On April 10th, he tweeted, “I am glad BJP is taking my chat more seriously than words of their own leaders! They should show courage & share the full chat instead of getting excited with selective use of parts of it. I have said this before & repeating again – BJP will not to CROSS 100 in WB. Period.”

It is surprising to see the analytical skills of Prashanth Kishor who predicted the failure of the BJP much before the polls. Both these tweets are going viral on social media.

However, Prashanth decided to quit this space of ‘election management’ and announced the same yesterday.
