Shock: Telangana Stops AP Ambulances At Border

In a shocking act, Telangana state is reportedly stopping the ambulances that are entering the state from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. Scarcity of Covid-beds, lack of necessary medical infrastructure is forcing many Covid patients and their relatives to rush to Hyderabad – the erstwhile capital of AP and the joint capital of TS and AP. However, Telangana police are said to be stopping the ambulances carrying patients at the TS state border.

With this, the patients and their relatives are clueless. Apart from Covid patients, other patients are also facing severe challenges as the ambulances are being stopped at the border. With this, ambulances were seen lined up at the borders.

As per reports, the Telangana police are said to be instructing the ambulance drivers to return to AP.

BJP’s state general secretary AP Vishnu Vardhan Reddy has raised severe objection to the act of Telangana state. He noted that Hyderabad remains to be the joint capital of the two Telugu states for a period of 10 years as per the AP Reorganization Act 2014. He urged the Telangana state to not be inhuman. He asked the AP CM, Telangana CM and respective officials of both the states to hold talks and resolve the issue immediately.
