HC Calls Out Wasting Court Time Is Punishable

The Bombay High Court has strongly criticized the practice of filing complaints and then later withdrawing the case after reaching a settlement with the accused. The court stated that this wastes the time and resources of the authorities and the judiciary. The High Court has decided to take a stern stance against such cases, indicating that a robust mechanism is needed to impose heavy penalties on those who engage in this behavior.
