Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, will make her electoral debut in the upcoming assembly elections. She will contest from the Bijbehara constituency, a stronghold of the Mufti family. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has announced candidates for 7 seats in south Kashmir.
