Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam has alleged serious security lapses during the election campaign of its chief Vijay. The party has written to the Ministry of Home Affairs claiming there was no adequate police deployment to manage crowds in Kolathur, despite Vijay being provided with Y-category security. TVK has sought immediate action over the issue.
