Team India’s Talismanic player, Virat Kohli is usually not short of attention and social media fame. This time he has made headlines after being involved in a confrontational conversation with Australian Media at the famous Melbourne Airport.
Going into the story, Kohli arrived at the Melbourne airport along with his family members today ahead of the much debated Boxing Day test match at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Shortly after Kohli and his family’s arrival at the airport, the star batsman got into a confrontation with the Australian media, and there is a personal reason behind the same.
Reportedly, Kohli confronted the media personnel by saying they can’t film him and his family members without his constant. He seemed agitated about the media barging into his family’s personal space with cameras.
However, the media’s argument was that anyone can be filmed by the media cameras while they are out in the public.
But as it turned out, this was just a misunderstanding as Kohli misinterpreted that he and his family members, along with his newborn son who is not yet disclosed to the public, were being filmed. This is the reason why he got into the confrontation in the first place.
However, the media quickly clarified that they weren’t filming Kohli’s family members and they were capturing only his footage. This pacified Kohli and he then calmly walked out of the arena after getting the clarification. The incident got nullified shortly after.
