Video Of The Day: Dhoni Steps Out For Toss After 683 Days

The last time Dhoni stepped out for the toss in the IPL was back in 2023, when he ended up winning the title for Chennai Super Kings. After this hugely rewarding season, Dhoni stepped down as the captain of the side, and this was when Chennai announced Ruturaj Gaikwad is the new captain.

However, with Gaikwad, getting injured and getting ruled out for the remainder of this season, Dhoni has returned as the captain of Chennai.

Incidentally, he stepped out for the toss today, and he was received with a monster crowd eruption at the Chennai Stadium. The whole stadium absolutely erupted in joy, and cheers while Dhoni stepped out.

Incidentally, Dhoni has come out for the toss as the captain of Chennai after a break of 683 days, and this makes the occasion all the more special for Chennai fans. The video of Dhoni at the toss is not going viral on social media.
