The government of Karnataka has taken the Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede very seriously. Chief minister Siddaramaiah has already instructed the state police to arrest the representatives of RCB and Karnataka State cricket board over this matter.
Incidentally, the marketing head of RCB was already arrested while vice president Rajesh Menon is on the run as he is absconding to avoid police action.
According to the latest developments, RCB vice president Rajesh Menon house has been raided by Bengaluru police and he is now absconding. The case has been handed over to CID and many more arrests will be happening shortly.
Meanwhile, the latest developments are suggesting that an activist has approached Bengaluru police with a complaint to file FIR against Virat Kohli over this stampede case.
A 25-year-old man who claims to be a survivor of the stampede that broke out in Bengaluru during the victory parade of IPL-winning team RCB has reportedly filed an FIR at the Cubbon Park Police Station over the tragedy that left 11 dead.
Cubbon Park inspector, acknowledge the complaint to name Virat Kohli in the FIR. This complaint is currently under consideration and the final call on whether or not to include Kohli in the same would be taken at a later point in time.
If at all Virat Kohli is named in the FIR regarding this stamped case, then the whole scenario could blow out of proportion and matters could get extremely serious in a rather short duration.
