Shocker: Test Heroes Gill And Siraj Out Of Asia Cup?

The stage is set for the start of the Asia Cup tournament from this September and team India is preparing for the announcement of the final squad for the same.  

However, the latest developments are suggesting that the Indian team composition could be delivering a few shockers. According to reliable reports, the final team composition could be excluding the recent heroes of the India versus England test series, Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj.

Despite the heroic performance performances of both Gill and Siraj in the recent test series against England, it is now reported that they could not be a part of the team for the Asia Cup 2025.

It is being primarily established that Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson could be the firm opening partnership for India. Interestingly, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was apparently out of the scheme of things in the first place is now back in the mix, and he could be the extra opening choice.

Is obviously going to be the head of the bowling department and Harshit and Prasidh could get the added slots. Reportedly Siraj is not a part of the plan for the time being.

Generally, everyone would expect both Gill and Siraj to be a crucial part of the Asia Cup tournament after the kind of performance that they put up in the test series against England. But that is not the case now, as both of them are finding it hard to make it to the final team for the Asia Cup tournament.
