Head Tsunami: Test Match Becomes T20!

The first test match of the ongoing Ashes test series between Australia and England was no shot of entertainment despite the fact that it got completed in just two days which wasn’t expected in the first place.

In the fourth innings, Australia was a modest target of 205 runs, which was not going to be straightforward on this space and bouncy Perth pitch. Everyone thought Australia would be finding it complex to chase this target, considering they got bowled out for 132 runs in the first innings.

However, explosive player Travis Head had other intentions as he put on a clinical performance with the bat by scoring 123 runs from 83 balls. He was absolutely untouchable with the bat as he played one of the greatest test innings of all time.

Thanks to the explosive innings that was played by Head, this test match, which was supposed to go to 3rd day, got completed on the second day itself. In the end, Australia chased down the target of 205 runs within 30 overs, which we don’t generally see Cricket.

This opening test match of the Ashes Series had more of a T20 vibe in the fourth innings, thanks to Head.
