As we had reported earlier, the upcoming season of IPL is barely three weeks from now, as it has been officially confirmed that the tournament would be starting from March 28.
While the discussion about the upcoming season has started already, let us have a look into this one particular observation that is grabbing the attention over.
Incidentally, Mumbai Indians will be the only IPL team to have three captains who have adequate experience in the all important T20 World Cup. These three captains are namely, Rohit Sharma, Surya Kumar Yadav and Mitchel Santner.
No other IPL team can boast of such a vast captaincy experience as Mumbai Indians as they have the absolute best captains in the class. But the shocking thing here is that none of these three World Cup captains will be leading that Mumbai Indians team.
It is Hardik Pandya, who does not have international captaincy legacy who will be leading Mumbai Indians this time. Rohit Sharma and Surya Kumar Yadav, who had won the T20 World Cup for India and Mitchel Santner who took New Zealand to the World Cup final this year will have to play under Hardik Pandya at Mumbai Indians.
