As per weather forecast, Typhoon Dujuan is likely to play spoilsport with heavy rainfall and strong currents. Team India had to cancel their final practice session at the Sano International Cricket Ground in Tochigi Prefecture due to poor weather conditions.

Both teams are waiting anxiously as local weather agency warned of heavy downpours across the Kanto region. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued weather warnings for severe rainfall throughout the day.

Local weather reports from AccuWeather indicate high chance of rain showers during afternoon hours. Sano cricket ground previously had to abandon another international match without toss due to similar heavy ground logging.

For India, this friendly match serves as an important warm up game ahead of their upcoming Asian Games campaign. Indian captain Shreyas Iyer mentioned in interview that team members are very excited but completely unaware of pitch conditions.
