Shah Rukh’s homage to Lataji, Pic Goes Viral

Indian music went silent on Sunday with the untimely demise of Bharat Ratna and singer Lata Mangeshkar. The 92 year old died of multiple organ failure while getting treated at a private hospital in Mumbai.

Condolences poured down for Lata while Bollywood celebrities paid rich tributes to her. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan also paid his homage to Lata Mangeshkar and he arrived at the crematorium.

A picture of SRK offering their tribute has gone viral and we see Shah Rukh paying his respects to the singer in Islamic tradition by opening his both hands and saying a prayer.

In the same photo, a lady can be seen offering her condolences with folded hands. However, the media and netizens assumed that she is SRK’s wife Gauri Khan but that’s not true. She happens to be SRK’s manager Pooja Dadlani.

The netizens were mighty impressed by this gesture as they are two people from two different faiths in one frame and they called this is the true ‘India.’

However the right wing supporters tried to troll SRK but the picture received more positive feedback than the negative.
