Satya Nadella’s son passes away

Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella’s son Zain Nadella died the other day. Microsoft Corp. released an official statement to its executive staff in an email about Zain’s demise.

Zain was 26 years old. He had been born with cerebral palsy. The organization also asked the executives to hold the family in their thoughts and prayers.

After becoming the CEO of Microsoft in 2014, Satya Nadella focussed on developing products to serve better to people with disabilities, by sharing the lessons he learned while raising and supporting his son.

Last year, Satya Nadella joined hands with the Children’s Hospital to establish the Zain Nadella Endowed Chair in Pediatric Neurosciences, as part of Seattle Children’s Center for Integrative Brain Research. Zain received most of his treatment in the Children’s Hospital.

“Zain will be remembered for his eclectic taste in music, his bright sunny smile and the immense joy he brought to his family and all those who loved him,” stated Jeff Sperring, CEO of Children’s Hospital, in an official statement.

The entire world has been sending condolences to the Nadella family after hearing the news.
