The last Nizam ruler and the King of the princely state of Hyderabad before it was merged with Union of India is none other than Mir Osman Ali Khan. He has almost 16 sons and 18 daughters from many marriages and the last surviving kid and daughter of Nizam breathed her last other day.
Sahebzadi Basheerunnisa Begum, aged 93, the last surviving kid of Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan, breathed her last other day. She is survived by a daughter and they live in Hyderabad. While Nizam’s heirs, his grandsons Mukarram Jah and Muffakkam Jah happens to be the richest persons like their grandfather, the other kin and kith of Nizam are tangled in legal battles for various properties and wealth spread around Hyderabad city.
With the death of Basheerunnisa Begum, the whole of an era has gone as the first generation of the last Nizam emperor are permanently gone now. The Nizam happens to be the richest man of the world during his times and after India got independence from Britain, Nizam gave much of his wealth to India, Pakistan and other countries as well, giving bits to his children.
