Apple Event: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, Apple Watch Ultra, Airpods Pro Announced

Apple announced iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Ultra at the launch event at Apple Park headquarters in California. So far, the tech giant announced iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, Apple Watch Ultra, New Airpods Pro, Apple Watch Series 8, and Apple Watch SE.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Plus

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced Apple iPhone 14 in two sizes. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 have 6.1-inch sizes and 6.7-inch versions for the iPhone 14 Plus model. Apple 14 comes in five colors including light blue, better battery life, ceramic screens with more durability, true tone OLED display.

Apple adds satellite emergency service feature to iPhone 14. Apple iPhone 14 releases Sept.16 and iPhone 14 Plus releases October 7. iPhone 14 will cost $799 and Plus will be $899.

When cell towers don’t reach, Apple connects with satellites when you point directly at them in open skies. The Sateliite supported SOS is free for two years with iPhone 14 launching in November.

In a huge upgrade, Apple iPhone 14 Pro will have a new 48 MP camera with a quad-pixel sensor. The low light photos are 2x better with iPhone 14 pro. There is also 2X telephoto option. It will start from $999.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro will also allow users to shoot at 48MP using a new ‘Apple ProRAW.’ The ultra-wide camera has 3x improvement in light capture and better macro photos.

iPhone 14’s eSIM

Apple is pushing eSIM for easier cell plan management and for more security. Apple US models will no longer have a SIM tray.

Airpods Pro

Apple also announced a new model of AirPods Pro, the wireless earbuds with noise canceling. The cost is $249 and will be on sale from September 23. Airpods Pro new have better sound quality with an H2 chip.

New AirPods Pro has added features like new touch control to adjust volume, longer battery life with up to 6 hours of listening time, smaller extra-small ear tips, and a speaker added to the case.

Apple Watch Ultra

Apple’s new watch is Watch Ultra. It has a new design, nigger screen, and a titanium case. This model has mainly aimed at outdoor athletes The preorders are available from Wednesday and will be available in stores from September 23. The cost is at least $799.

Apple Watch SE

Apple’s low-cost watch is SE that is starting from $249. This year’s model has a bigger screen, heart rate notifications, fall detection, and a new plastic design on the underside of the watch.

Apple Watch Series 8

Apple Watch 8 is claimed to be the most durable than the previous models and with a new temperature sensor. This sensor also helps women track their health including ovulation.

Apple Watch Series 8 comes in four colors – black, gold, aluminum, and red – and three colors of stainless steel. The aluminum model costs at least $399 while the cellular model starts from $499.

Series 8 Has all-day 18-hour battery life. Series 8 can detect crashes in cars, SUVs and pickup trucks. It can detect if you,ve been in a severe car crash and automatically connect you with emergency services, provide location, and notify emergency contacts.

International roaming is now supported with Apple Watch Series 8.
