Infosys founder Narayana Murthy is a humble person and there are many stories to reaffirm it. Here is yet another tale that shows the simplicity of Murthy. On Sunday Murthy was the guest of honour for an event at GMR Engineering College in Rajam of Vizianagaram district.
When Murthy confronted GMR group’s head Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao’s brother Neelachalam, the Infosys founder kneeled and paid his respects. As soon as Murthy bowed down (Padabhivandanam) to take the blessings of Neelachalam, the spectators were stunned.
Thousands of students clapped seeing Murthy’s act. That’s Murthy for us, being humble, respecting elders and most importantly being kind, defines his phenomenal personality. Murthy is a billionaire, developed India’s most successful tech company yet is grounded to his roots. Legend forever!
