Railway officials at Patna Junction Railway Station in Bihar have landed in trouble after a pornographic clip played on display screens instead of advertisements.
The visuals played on LED screens at one of the platforms for about three minutes, allowing many passengers to record it on their phones. Outraged commuters immediately reported the incident to officials, leading the Railway Protection Force to intervene and stop the footage.
The incident quickly went viral on social media, with many tagging Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the Railways Ministry. The agency responsible for running ads and information on the screens, Dutta Communication, has been blacklisted by the Railways, and an FIR has been filed against them.
The railway police are now investigating the matter. This incident highlights the need for better regulation and monitoring of public displays to prevent such inappropriate content from being shown.
