‘Wonderlust’ Apple Event 2023: Apple Watch 9, iPhone 15 Announced

Apple’s Wonderlust event at its Apple Park in California headquarters announced the most rumored iPhone 15 and new Apple watches.

iPhone 15 And iPhone 15 Plus

Apple announced the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Apple launched the Dynamic Island with the iPhone 14 Plus and now it has been added to the latest phones too. iPhone 15 comes in muted pink, yellow, blue, and black. The base iPhone 15 will cost $799. The larger iPhone 15 Plus will cost $899. The low-end price remains unchanged.

And finally Apple introdueces the USB-C for charging and says ‘USB-C has become a universally accepted standard, so we’re bringing it to iPhone’.

Apple also announced both USB-C charging and wired Airpods for the next-gen iPhone 15. The 2nd Gen Airpods Pro will be updated for USB-C. The old lighting cables will no longer work.

iPhone 15 will be able to call roadside assistance via satellite. Users will be able to get help without cellular network. This feature is free for iPhone 15 users for two years.

Apple introduces ‘action button’ in the place of the mute switch. The action button can switch between their ringer and silence when presses, it can also be used to host different actions.

iPhone 15 Pro will come with a titanium case, the ‘lightest’ and ‘thinner borders’ on an iPhone ever.

iPhone 15 Pro will start at $999 and iPhone 15 Pro Max will cost $1199, but ith a 256 gigabytes. These are available for preorder from Friday.

iPhone 15 Pro cameras will now come with 48MP. They will be able to shoot in 48MP HEIF and super high resolution as a default. The sensor is bigger now and iPhone 15 Pro Photonic Engine allows the focal lengths of 24mm, 28mm and 35 mm.

The iPhone 15 Pro will have a 3X telephoto camera and 15 Pro Max will be having a 5X zoom. iPhone 15 Pro Max will also include a 120 millimeter focal length.

Apple Watch Series 9 And Apple Watch Ultra 2

The latest Apple Watches coming from Apple are the Apple Watch Ultra 2, Series 9, and the second generation SE. Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be priced at $799, Series 9 at $399, and the second generation SE at $249.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 will include the new S9 chip and a display capable of 3,000 nits. It comes with a 72-hour battery life and 95% recycled titanium. The new Apple Watch has an improved ‘Find My iPhone’ feature.

Apple also brought in the new fine woven bands for its watch and avoids leather from now on for a better environment. Apple has four luxury brands Hermes made the new leather-free bands, while its collaboration with sportswear brand Bike continues.
