Star Cricketer’s House Looted With Wife And Kids Inside

It is now secret that international cricketers lead the most luxurious of lives as they have surplus financial resources. But at the same time, they are constant risk of looting and burglary. The same has happened with England’s star cricketer Ben Stokes.

Stokes, who is one of the all time greatest players for England cricket and is still active in the game, has stated that his house has been looted while his wife and two young kids were inside.

On the evening of Thursday 17th October a number of masked people burgled Stokes’s home in the Castle Eden area in the North East. They escaped with jewellery, other valuables and a good deal of personal items. Many of those items reportedly have real sentimental value for the family.

By far the worst thing about this crime is that it was carried out whilst his wife and 2 young children were in the house. Thankfully, none of the family members came to any physical harm. Understandably, however, the experience has had an impact on their emotional and mental state.

This shocking crime happened while Stokes is partaking in the ongoing Pakistan tour as he’s playing an international series here.
