The 12th season of Pro Kabaddi league is finally here as it started off on August 29 with reopening game played between Telugu Titans and Tamil Thalaivas.
As expected, this game was a close affair from start to finish, but things went horribly out of form for Telugu Titans towards the end. With final 20 seconds to go, the scorecard was reading 34-35 in favour of Tamil Thalaivas.
A piece of smart play could have secured a draw for Telugu Titans here, but they went for the audacious result and ended up conceding the game by 35-38 margin to the Tamil team.
Historically speaking, Telugu Titans have had a slow start to the season and a similar trend is continuing this time with the opening result, not going our way in the 12th season either.
However, Telugu Titans must not get too occupied with this result and be focused on the next game against UP Yodhas which is scheduled for today. Only a positive result, here against UP will set the season back on track for the Telugu team, which is of top importance here.
