The celebratory occasion of New Year is generally a much anticipated one for the younger generation. In accordance with this, the grand New Year celebration parties were held across India last night.
However, a serious of videos of New Year celebrations from Metro city like Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Pune and others have started to go viral on social media and they have earned a split reaction.
In this series of videos from metro cities, we see several females in a highly intoxicated state being escorted out of the pubs and clubs. They have very little control over their bodies, let alone maintaining socially dignified etiquette.
Well, many people on social media are pointing out that this is a dangerous trend that is driving the younger generation of India towards the infamous Western model and this needs to be stopped. They are pointing that such indecent activities by young boys and girls needs to be curbed asap.
And on the other hand, we have the younger generation on social media, which is commenting that it is well within the individual rights to celebrate any occasion in whatever manner they want.
Whatever might be the commentary on these videos, the essential point is that certain social manners is to be observed, regardless of the occasion and this applies to all age groups at all times.
