Now we have another such case of a successful Telugu guy who went from the grassroots of Siddipet in Telangana to a permanent member of the United Kingdom parliament.
This is the story of a Telangana born individual named Uday Nagaraju, who was born in Siddipet, moved to the United Kingdom.
On February 10, he created history by becoming the first Telugu guy to be announced as permanent peer of the House of Lords, which is the upper house of the Parliament of Britain.
The 46 year old public policy, professional took oath as the permanent member of the Britain, Parliament and scripted history. He swore on the sacred Bhagavad-Gita to uphold the ethics and moral duties that come with this position.
Uday is the first Telugu guy to enter the House of Lords in the United Kingdom Parliament and he is being flooded with congratulatory messages from Telugu diaspora globally.
