Earlier last month, it was established that the Iranian drones had struck and affected the Amazon building in UAE. It was established that Amazon cloud computing services were halted due to this military attack.
And now the latest development are suggesting that Iran has somehow found a way to attack Amazon again as they’ve reportedly struck another building belonging to Amazon in Bahrain.
Bahrain’s Interior Ministry confirmed that Iran struck a facility in Bahrain today hosting Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, causing damage and a fire. This follows the Iranian threats to target US tech assets and companies if they don’t stop advancements on Iran territory.
It is turning out to be that Amazon cloud services buildings have become an easy target for Iranian attack attacks. Apparently, Iran believes that Amazon cloud is offering crucial technical support to the United States attacks on Iran, and that is why they are repeatedly targeting this enclosure.
But nevertheless, it is problematic to see technological companies facing such repercussions of conflict and war between two independent countries.
