Mussoorie: Vizag Techie Dies In Suspicious Manner

In an unfortunate incident, a young software engineer from Visakhapatnam, identified as Radha Gayathri, has died under suspicious circumstances while on a vacation with her husband in Uttarakhand. She is aged 27 years.

According to the police, Gayathri was found dead inside a hotel room in the popular hill station of Mussoorie. Investigators registered it as a case of suspicious death after discovering bleeding from her nose. A detailed investigation into the incident has been launched.

Gayatri, a resident of Chinamushidivada in Visakhapatnam, married Sreecharan on November 8, 2025. She was working as software engineer in Gurugram and residing in Delhi’s Kidwai Nagar East. Her husband is employed in IT sector in Pune.

Police said Gayathri and her husband reached the Kiana Homestay at Tipridhar late on the night of June 14 after travelling from Delhi to Rishikesh the previous day.

Sricharan informed investigators that the couple had consumed alcohol through the night and went to sleep at around 3:30 AM. The next day morning, he noticed Gayathri in unconscious state and immediately alerted the hotel authorities. Two empty liquor bottles and food items were recovered from the room.

The unexpected tragedy has left Gayathri’s family in deep shock and grief. Upon receiving the devastating news, her family members immediately left Visakhapatnam for Mussoorie. Gayathri’s father said he doesn’t have any suspicion on the death of her daughter.
