Cricketer Prithvi Shaw and actress Akriti Agarwal are back together weeks after calling off their engagement. Akriti shared a note on Instagram confirming that they have decided to give their relationship another chance.

Akriti said she was misguided by the opinions of people close to her when she decided to end the engagement. She admitted that she made the decision without having an honest conversation with Prithvi about their relationship.

The actress took responsibility for her decision and the hurt it caused. She said they have since spoken openly, understood each other and decided to be together again.

Akriti also made it clear that they want to focus on their own understanding, trust and love instead of outside opinions. She asked people to respect their decision as they begin a new chapter together.
