Disney World Accepting Reservations From July

Disney had to close its theme parks all over the world in the later March due to the coronavirus outbreak. The number of cases all over the US escalated to unexpected levels and the country had to stay at home, leaving the reopening possibility under suspense.

It looks like the Disney theme parks in Florida in the US, are opening in six weeks from now, though the exact date is not mentioned anywhere. The Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Resort hotels are now accepting reservations for travel dates from July 1. Also, there is a possibility of opening these parks earlier than the dates announced, the guests will be able to modify these bookings.

Disney Springs previously Downtown Disney is reopening on May 20, while all other theme parks in the world remain closed until July.

The country is reopening slowly and it seems to be inevitable at this moment, and even if the health experts like Dr. Fauci warns of consequences of reopening early.

There are more than 80,000 deaths recorded in the US so far, while there are more than 1,347,151 coronavirus cases, with 17,360 new cases and 850 deaths just on Monday. In the US, the New York state still has the highest cases, more than 337,000.
