Laxmmi Bomb Trailer: Fun & Fear Loaded

Choreographer turned director Raghava Lawrence is debuting in Bollywood with the remake of his ‘Kanchana’ film as ‘Laxxmi Bomb.’ The trailer of the film is out and playing the lead role, Akshay Kumar steals the show.

For this remake, the basic plot is retained but the setup is changed. Akshay falls in love with the female lead Kiara Advani and he ends up at her place. A few events lead him to get obsessed with the ghost and Akshay gives a notable performance.

The comedy in this trailer looks forced and doesn’t generate the laugh like the original did. But Akshay makes up for it with his transformation as a Eunuch. He dons saree and the big Sindoor on his forehead with a divided hairdo, are okayish to certain extent.

For Telugu and Tamil audiences, the trailer might appeal repetitive but for Hindi viewers, it appears to be a good watch.

Instead of theatres, ‘Laxxmi Bomb’ will be releasing on Disney+HotStar platform on November 9th.
