Technicians are not given value in Tollywood: Sr Editor

Tollywood is a star-driven industry and it is an undeniable fact. Here, films run predominantly on the stardom of the actors.

Many heroes and heroines enjoy a massive fan following among audiences. Even at the audio launches, they are the ones who get all the praises more than anyone else.

On the technical front, only directors and music directors are often given credits in the audio launch and pre-release events.

Popular editor Marthand K Venkatesh pointed out this fact at the pre-release event of Love Story last night. “Generally, we don’t attend these events because technicians don’t have any value here in the Telugu film industry,” said the star editor.

“I came only when I was told that Aamir Khan garu is coming to the event, just to get those positive vibes from him,” he further added.

This video clip is now going viral all over social media. Marthand K Venkatesh has been giving interviews on Youtube of late and after watching him speak, one would definitely admire his straightforward attitude.
