One of the biggest super hit reality Telugu show ever is none other than the singing competition “Padutha Theeyaga” that comes up on ETV and was judged by legendary SP Balasubramanyam. Since its inception in 1996, this show is such a super hit that many of the super talented singers we are hearing now are actually spotted by composers in this show only.
With the death of SPB, many are wondering how this show would go forward. Though ETV announced that SP Charan would take over back in June itself, there is no word about the program since then. But finally, the latest promos of Padutha Theeyaga new episodes are out with SP Charan and Suneetha being the judges, while Chandrabose and Vijay Prakash are two more added attractions.
Though it’s hard for fans of this super successful show to believe that for the first time after 15 years this show is coming to reality without SP Balu in it, then they will surely feel happy that SP Charan is continuing the legacy. But then we have to see if Charan and Suneetha will be able to spot the kind of gems that SPB actually found with this program.
Karunya, Hemachandra, Usha and Geethamadhuri are some of the talents who made inroads into Tollywood through this program.
