Directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, this romantic drama featured Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles. Right from the release day, Hridayam garnered a positive talk and ended up a blockbuster at the box office.
After its success, many people predicted that the film will definitely get remade in other languages. And it is going to happen officially now.
Popular Bollywood production houses Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios acquired the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil remake rights of Hridayam. Announcing the same, the production house tweeted, “Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios have acquired the for a beautiful coming-of-age love story, Hridayam.”
The banners further announced that more details about this remake will be announced soon. As it will be made in three languages, the makers will most likely rope in pan-India stars for this movie.
We have to wait for a few more days to know about the cast and crew of this movie. It has to be seen if Hridayam’s remake versions can replicate the magic of the original.
