Opinion: KRR Losing His Status With These Films

Legendary director K Raghavendra Rao always get hailed for the kind of films he has directed with the likes of NT Ramarao, Megastar Chiranjeevi and other heroes.

He’s known as the baap of commercial films and adding masala to songs as well as romantic styles is his typical style that the whole of Tollywood is following even now. But the veteran is simply outdoing his own achievements with his recent works.

Other day, the trailer of a film titled “Wanted Pandugadu” got launched and its quite whacky we must say. Written and directed by Sreedhar Seepana, whose directorial and writing ventures in the recent times ended as duds, the film is presented by KRR. We hear that he acted as a supervision-director on the sets to make this fill with a bunch of popular comedians including Sudigali Sudheer, Sunil, Prithvi and others.

The trailer appears quite routine with various comedians doing silly comedy, and the hot looks of Anasuya in a tribal lady, as well as modern glamour star getup, fails to make any impact.

One wonders why would KRR associate with such pathetic content and damage his ‘legendary’ image himself. One wonders what touch KRR has given to the film and what is that unique content Sreedhar Seepana is banking upon to make this film worth a watch.
